About the mailing list

The purpose of this list is to help Terratec EWS64XL owners to become
more aquainted with the various functions of this card, to figure out
what it does and how well it does it and to wonder when the patch
editor will come out. 

The mailing list is unoficial, meaning it is not linked to or
supported by Terratec. If you need support to get your brandnew card
working, it's always a good idea to phone the Terratec helpdesk.
Although list members will probably help you, the Terratec helpdesk is
the more direct, quicker way to get your card working. (It also saves
the list from endless questions about installing cards, IRQ shortages,
Plug and Pray problems, etc. which can become pretty boring reading
material after a while according to people who subscribe to the GUS
mailing list) I'll let Terratec know about this initiative, perhaps we
can get the latest news about drivers and long-awaited patch editors
sooner this way, but it's all up to Terratec.

I'll also set-up a page for the mailing list in the future, but if you

Since I'm running the list without the help of a mailing list
processor, I have to do everything by hand. Nevertheless I'm hoping to
get a digest out at least every three days. Digest may appear more
frequently if the number of daily postings increases of course, so get
busy writing.
